Anyone got a recommendation for a good book on implementing SNMP? System is embedded Linux, but smallish.
It's getting somewhat long in the tooth now (2007), but the book "Linux Appliance Design" has one of the better embedded-oriented introductions I've seen to SNMP. The "Laddie" alarm device the book uses as its example application is simplistic for knowledgeable embedded engineers, but the Linux parts--particularly the networking stuff--was better than I expected.
