Hello Group
I'm using IAR embedded workbench and SAM-ICE with the AT91SAM7L-STK
and I keep getting the error "Could not find supported CPU core on
JTAG chain" when I try to download and debug.
jlink.exe shows the same thing.
Does the SAM-ICE not support the new AT91SAM7L128???
Thanks!

I'm seeing the same thing on a SAM7L128. I tried upgrading the JLink
DLL to 3.90c with no effect. SAM7S chips work fine, though.

Some devices (like the NXP LPC210x parts) disable the JTAG access for security
reasons and you need to execute some code to enable the JTAG interface.
Is the SAM7L maybe something like that?
Alternatively have you tried slower clocking.

Hi all,
There could be a Device Version Change. I think you may have to fiddle
with the configuration file.
