Started by I couldn't get WiFi working on the new Pico 2 W using MicroPython available from Raspberry Pi. An implementation that does work has been developed by Pimoroni and is available here:

You need this file:
pico2_w-v0.0.11-pimoroni-micropython.uf2
A couple of WiFi programs for the original Pico W that I tried work with it.
