Hi Philips Apps: Been programming a batch of LPC2214 based development boards yesterday using the Philips Flash utility. Any chance of feeding this back to the authors of the utility: 1. Subsequent clicking of 'read chip ID' does not reset DTR (chip reset) / RTS (P0.14). Only the first click (after starting the program works). Not useful for repetitive testing / debugging. Also, 'Reset chip' doesn't seem to work. 2. Could the timed splash screen be removed (i.e. when the program first runs, or when 'Help' is invoked)? In 'help' a button to OK the screen would be fine). It is just a unnecessary delay. 3. Could faster baud rates (>= 115200) be supported? At 38400 the time to program an LPC2214 is too long... 4. Could the source to the utility be released so that users tweak the code for themselves (e.g. for production purposed) if required? Thanks very much Jane |

The LPC21ISP utility has source and is (I think) ideal for this sort of modification. I'm working on it at the moment to provide support for the larger memory model LPCs. Thanks Robert, let us know when you've got something to beta test ;-) BTW is it VB, VC6.0, command line (that would be OK), or Windows? --- Robert Adsett <> wrote: --------------------------------- At 08:00 AM 3/12/05 +0000, janehighland wrote: >4. Hello Jane, it is VC6.0 or VC7.0, command line and open source. Compiles and runs under cygwin and linux. (Currently missing is support of more chips) For details or download, have a look at http://www.clibb.de/lpc21xx/isp/index.html http://guest.engelschall.com/~martin/lpc21xx/isp/index.html Regards, Martin ----- Original Message ----- From: "jane highland" <> To: <> Sent: Sunday, March 13, 2005 8:32 AM Subject: Re: [lpc2000] Philips Flash Utility 2.2.1 *** FAO Philips Apps *** > > Thanks Robert, let us know when you've got something > to beta test ;-) > > BTW is it VB, VC6.0, command line (that would be OK), > or Windows? > |
