I about to embark on porting eCos to the ARM-based Phillips LPC2194 controller. Does anyone know if this (or similar) has been done already? This message was sent using the comp.arch.embedded web interface o www.EmbeddedRelated.com

Ian, don't know if you already did but posting this question on the LPC2000 Yahoo forum will get you more response. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/lpc2000/ In the files section of the group (you have to sign up to use access the files section) you will find an ECOS port for the LPC2106. These two devices are very similar but as you know the LPC2194 offers more and better peripherals. Nevertheless using the port for the LPC2106 to start might save you a lot of time. There is a port for uC-OSII for the LPC2129, which is the same as the LPC2194 except for the number of CAN interfaces.
