Pre FCC Approved RF? - Scott Lingerfelt - Jan 25 18:39:00 2005

Does anyone know where I can purchase a low cost pre-approved wireless
transceiver or transmitter/receiver? I currently use the Maxstream product
and would like to get something a little less expensive.

Thanks in advance, Scott

Linx Technologies makes a pre-approved transceiver, the SC-PA.

check them out: http://www.linxtechnologies.com/

I haven't used their products yet, but was planning on incorporating it into
an upcoming design... I just looked at their page on the SC-PA and it says:
"This product is not recommended for new designs."

So I'm not sure if they have a replacement coming out soon.. you might want
to contact them. Abacom-tech might also make pre-approved modules
(http://www.abacom-tech.com/transceivers.htm).
