hi guys, i've made a mistake and bought 2 4.8v dc motors that are too big for my 'h' bridge ic....these are motors that will probably run at 2a normal load, stall current 7a. i don't know what i need to control this amount of power, any help appreciated....needs to be reasonably simple only home project to help me learn pics in preperation for next semesta best regards shaun |

i suggest that you buy another h-bridge that will be compatible with your dc motors...try using A3951 pwm motor driver from Analog Devices...they are suitable for motors like yours... --------------------------------------------------------- Emmanuel A.
