hello everyone.
i am new to PIC microcontroller,so i need help. However i have a lot
of experience on avr microcontroller but now i want to work on PIC.
i need to know about some homebrew programmer for 16-bit
PIC24FJ64GA002 microcontroller.
i want to program it without using the costly readymade PICSTART
programmer Kit or something like this.
So can someone please tell me the link or some schematic for its
programmer? i will be highly grateful for ur cooperation.

A Pickit2 USB programmer from MicroChip is US$35 and will program
everything from a PIC10 to a dsPIC33F including the PIC24FJ64GA002. I
don't think that you can do better than that. However, you go here to
download the user's guide:

There is a full schematic there.
