Andy,
Do not kid yourself for a minute... I am not a dev dude and never will
be. You do seem to be though... so I have an idea (NO PROMISES HERE)
If I can get you the source code for V 6 compiler would you want to
take a crack at the oEvent problem?
There will be the standard confidentiality etc. crap.
I figure if I can't get SS to do it maybe we can get the users to
figure it out.

I appreciate the vote of confidence, but I doubt I'm the right one to
tackle it. For starters, whatever the development environment
(compiler, libraries, IDE) is, I don't have it. I'm a Win32 console
app developer, not a GUI dude. Besides, what would take me gawd
knows how long to get up to speed on should take the original
developer literally half an hour, if not less.
Perhaps there is someone else here who is better positioned to do this.

I would be willing to give it a shot. I know what the problem is
and what has to be done to fix it.
