Well give us a quick lesson on how they are supposed to work.

I will work on that. A long time ago I figured them out... based on
the manual, I quit using them thus no problem lol.

Please let me have the weekend to refresh my memory and wire some
stuff up. I will compile that with what Scott passed on to me and
give you some sort of official answer.

Re: Savage Innovations / Compiler / ooBug and etc.. UPDATE - tinslwc - Aug 1 21:47:20 2008

Do it without my event patcher program. Dennis and I worked on this
quite some time ago and I went back and wrote a program to patch
the .oex file with the proper hex values to make the events work.
If you examine the output from the compiler, it is not correct. It
is not a user problem but a compiler issue and we have covered this
on many occasions. Here is a quick test YOU can do to prove that
they are not working. Take an A or B version chip, write an event
driven program in compiler version 5 (or 6 I think) and it will work
fine. Now, after you verify that events work correctly, swap the A
or B chip for a C chip, compile with version 6 and it will not
work. No code changes, no external hardware changes, just a chip
swap and reprogram. I have spent quite a bit of time delving into
this issue.

The jump to code address is not being written to the compiled code.
Make that work by simply following the instructions in the manual.
(It won't)

If you had read previous posts on this issue, you would have seen
that. You would not be claiming that it is user error.

Oh, and I forgot, LOL??? It is not funny to us who bought the C's
on the precept that they would work as advertised. As you can see
no one here is very happy or laughing.

Re: Savage Innovations / Compiler / ooBug and etc.. UPDATE - theo570 - Aug 1 22:19:00 2008

cmon, give me a break. It was based on the sentence not the
situation, don't read more into it than there is.

Again, I am in the same boat, I have product that does not work and I
certainly did not get it for free.

I also said I would work on it. Scott can either ignore me, de
partner me or take a look but I said I would work on him and I will.

In addition, I have not EVER made or been paid 1 red cent from SI to
date, thats funny.
