Any sample code for an external spi RTC like DS1390 - mpbwork - Sep 24 9:40:23 2008
Hi I am adding a Dallas/Maxim DS1390 RTC [DS1390-DS1394] to my project.
I have my spi working well on my A/D.
I am trying to think of how to set up the registers and functions for
reading displaying and setting of the time and date.
Does Anyone know of or have example code for this or any other SPI RTC
like the DS1390.
I dident see one on the TI site but it is a big site.
I am usung the MSP430fg4618 but code for any MSP430 would be a great
help. I know I will need to modify for my application but a working
example would realy help.

Hi,
We use a Dallas device on one of our MSP projects.
To speed up development, I started with some C code from a Microchip PIC C compiler (CCS).
You might want to try the same route!
