Knowing how fast Paul works, I guess that means a LPC1300 BSP sometime
late this evening then... ;)

I'm not the one that's constructing the LPC1300 package; right now I'm
working on packages for EFM32 and MC13324, among other things...

Could you estimate when LPC13xx package will be ready?
(I'm wondering about buying this MCUs... but I need a soft to use them.)

First of all, you can reduce the time you have to wait by ONE YEAR by
setting your computer's clock to the correct date.
It's 2009 now, not 2008.

Sure I can estimate. Oh, you mean you want to know? I don't quite know
yet. Probably not very long.

Just a warning here: many boards (such as the Keil MCB1343 board) will come
only with a Cortex SWD connector and will only support SW-DP. We now have =
a
solution that will allow you to use the small SWD connector with, for
instance, the LPC1300 which has only a SW-DP and not the JTAG-DP port.
There will be a new release of CrossWorks which will support this along wit=
h
a hardware adapter board which is both a format converter (20-pin to 10-pin
Cortex) and a protocol converter which allows you to use, for instance, any
FTDI-based JTAG adapter with CrossWorks on SW-DP-only parts such as the
LPC1300, LPC1100, and EFM32 in true single wire mode.
Regards,

Some email software will allow you to move directly to trash those messages with an
invalid date (too old or date in the future). It is helpful for trashing emails from
those senders that want their email at the top of your list.
Better yet: never accept email from Yahoo Groups, GMAIL, HOTMAIL, etc. If they come in at
all, they go right straight to Trash.
Very useful, this software stuff...

Only way is to set watchdog.
void RESET (void){
WDTC = 0xFF;
WDMOD = 0x0F;
WDFEED = 0xAA;
WDFEED = 0x55;
}

That's nice to know, particularly that the Olimex FTDI-based devices will work as will ...
they're rather slow but the price makes up for it. I've already bought a J-Link for SWD
support (before I knew about the adapter), but it's nice to know that all the other JTAG
adapters I have will still be usable within Crossworks on the newer chips.
