LPC2888 starting problem. - "prashant.medical" - Oct 27 10:46:29 2009

Hi,

I have just got this board from Olimex for LPC2888. Since we already have a ULINK-ME adapter, i tried to port the example code given in the code bundle by NXP to simply toggle a port pin (P2.1). But it's not working.

I have tried all possible options like configuring PLL (even though the startup file configures the main PLL). It gave "Cannot load flash programming algorithm" on a number of occasions.

Then i pulled up P2.3 high to download code to memory using USB through MASS_DFU application given by NXP. But when i connect it, it doesn't give the screen that is mentioned in the user manual. Instead, it only gives "USB Device Not Recognized".

The only thing that is working is the Test Mode (P2.2 and P2.3 high).

Pls let me know if there is any workaround. I have gone through lots of discussions on forums, but i don't know where exactly to start.

Could IAR or OpenOCD solve the problem ?

With regards,
Prashant
