HC11 freeze in expanded mode - scor...@yahoo.fr - Jan 17 8:09:59 2009

Hi,

I have recently designed a board with a HC811E2, an EEPROM and a RAM chipset. I have also a boot program (used in bootstrap mode) to write a S19 file in the internal or external EEPROM. I have validated the write in the internal memory but in the external memory it doesn't work. In fact I have noticed that when the boot program change the boot mode to the expanded mode (HPRIO register) the HC11 freeze, it doesn't respond at all.
I have tried the same thing with another board (a light board) and it doesn't have the same behaviour. So I think that it's a hardware problem, but I don't know where and how a pin could be freeze the HC11 ?

Anyone would have a idea ?

Thanks
