I need to buy a FPGA development board with the following: Xilinx or other with 600,000 to 1 Million Gate Count 4 High Speed A/D (50-60 Msps) 4 High Speed D/A (50-60 Msps) 2 A/D 1 D/A Thanks-Ali |

I'll check with my last place of employment. The board has an ARM cpu, DP ram, Sram( non volitile ), Sram (volitile), flash, 4 Virtex1000E's and a compact pci interface, level translator for seril comm, and lots of 2x20 IDC headers to all of the fpga's there is a LVPECL clock circuit that has equalized trace lengths and DLL feed back routed for board de-skew. 1 AtoD & 1 DtoA ( bot are intended for Rf applications ) they were running at 93.33mHz on our design the DAC did 4x interpolate convert. It has baseband mode and bandpass mode.. etc.. If they out grew the platform ( design size speaking ) there will be board available. The board doesn't need the 400 PCI backplace to be used. I Just wired 5, 3.3, 1.8 V's to the PCI pin Pads and put standoff's on the board to keep it off of the desk for better cooling an survivability. There are boards and they would be sold as is. I am sure theat they would run the standard SW test of all peripherals and at the least establish that the JTAG chain of the 4 devices is intact and all devices are configuralbe. If you are serious about a board with near 1 Million Gates for developement. also there is a surplus of Virtex 1000E and 2000E devices still in original packgaing. If interested email: I would guess the board to cost somwhere around 3-8 thousand bucks. There may also be another board that has only 1 1000E on it along with a motorolla PowerPC CPU. perhaps cheaper ???? __________________________________________________ |
