Regarding the BX24 Chip Upgrade. Unless we find any more bugs (crossing fingers). This should be the end of features/upgrades to the BX24. We have no more code space left in the chip anyway. As far as the compiler and VB interfaces go, we can upgrade them and give you download capabilities over the web. Now on to new chips..... BX2 - is a BX1 without Networking code, and all same functions as a BX24 (no ADC), but can take external RAM, and is serially downloadable. Has 400 bytes of RAM available internally just like the BX24! BX35 - is the BX24's main chip (ADC's included) as a 40 pin DIP, with access to all uncommitted pins. Jack |

Do you have estimated availability dates for the BX2, AL24, & BX35? Jack Schoof wrote: > > Regarding the BX24 Chip Upgrade. > > Unless we find any more bugs (crossing fingers). AL24 now. It is up to you (or someone) to make a downloader - a great project for a BX24 huh? BX2 Chip - Early January BX35 Chip - Early January Development board for BX2 is the same as the BX1. Two 100K resistors will need to be added to the circuit in order to use the ATN line for serial downloading. Development board for BX35 is probably Late February, Early March. It will do BX2, BX24, BX35 all on one board. Jack > >Jack Schoof wrote: >> >> Regarding the BX24 Chip Upgrade. >> >> Unless we find any more bugs (crossing fingers).
