Your best bet is to find the original programmers code. Even if you could
download the existing program from the chip
it would not contain the comments and would be of much less value.
The professor has to know who wrote the original code. Ask him.

Subject: [BasicX] New to Basicx: How do I see what programs are already
embedded on the BasicX?
I'm working on a project for a professor at the University of California,
Irvine. Its a rehabilitative microcontroller Hand-Device for Stroke
patients... Basically its already pretty much made, I just have to get it
back into working condition / make it better.
How do I check whats already on the BasicX? I don't want to delete anything
thats on there.
I've read alot of documentation, mostly about how to Add programs onto the
BasicX, but not how to view the one's that are already inside the
microcontroller.
Please Help! I've already spend a week trying to figure this out, I only
have a few weeks left to finish it.
Thanks,
Eric
