BX24 - BX35 Difference - roberto roxas - Jun 3 22:16:00 2002

Hello Guys,

Just got my BX35 Development board and went through the LEDFL1-5 demos Dr.
Anderson
have in his website. I did modify slightly his codes, so it would point to
the right pins on my
BX35. Now that's done, I would like to move on to some slightly more
complicated project or
at least attempt to :) specifically:

Dr. Anderson's DS2450_1 http://www.phanderson.com/basicx/ds2450_1.html
page.

BX24 (term 13) ------------------------ DS2450 (term 3)
BX35 (term 33)

He refers to Pin 13 on the BX24 which is an ADC pin to be connected to Pin 3
(Data Pin) of the DS2450
right? If that's correct, I should substitute Pin 13 (BX24) to Pin 33
(BX35) ADC pin right?

Now, powering up the DS2450, on the BX35 there is a development area that
has 5V+ and GND
hooking up a 4.7K resistor in series to the +5V then, connecting it to Pin
33 (BX35) which is then
connected to the Pin 3 (DS2450) is the correct approach right? grounding
the DS2450 by connecting
Pin 4 (DS2450) to the development area's ground to close up the circuit. Is
this correct?

Sorry guys, I know this seems basic but would appreciate any assistance reluctant to power the BX35

roberto. ps: hey if this works, DS1050 would be the next project.
