I am using MAVRIC 1B (ATmega 128)developement board from BDMICR) and=20
BAASCOM AVR.when I try to download a sample program using AVR ISP=20
downloader, it was displayed as " couldn't identify the chip with=20
id:FFFFF" and unable to write into flashROM. This is the first time I=20
am using this board. I also tried with atmega 32 devlopment board. The=20
same problem occurs. Kindly tell us how to solve this problem. Is=20
there any special setting that I have to do in software as well as in=20
hardware.I tried with different programmers available in BASCOM.=20
Kindly specify which programmer has to be used for this kind of=20
downloader and development board. Please clarify my doubts.

Hello,

Thanks to all those who have given valuable suggestions. now my board
is working.i can write the program and test. but still the chip
couldn't identify. again it shows" could not identify the chip with
ID:FFFFF". what may be the reason.
