[AVR club] help required - srsaravanakumar - Jul 16 9:26:44 2008

I am using MAVRIC 1B (ATmega 128)developement board from BDMICR) and
BAASCOM AVR.when I try to download a sample program using AVR ISP
downloader, it was displayed as " couldn't identify the chip with
id:FFFFF" and unable to write into flashROM. This is the first time I
am using this board. I also tried with atmega 32 devlopment board. The
same problem occurs. Kindly tell us how to solve this problem. Is
there any special setting that I have to do in software as well as in
hardware.I tried with different programmers available in BASCOM.
Kindly specify which programmer has to be used for this kind of
downloader and development board. Please clarify my doubts.

Hello,

What kind of AVR programmer are you using ?
It seems that the problem lies with your programmer since your
ATmega32 development board could not be programmed either.
