This posting is a bit off-topic as it doesn't really concern AVR's. I let
it get posted but keep in mind that if your posting doesn't directly
relate to AVR's, no one here might have an answer for you.
Looking at the Lantronix website though, it appears there is plenty of
information available for free download to determine how to use it.

Hi
I am also in the process of using the export and have been able to
configure the xport(fix the IP address etc etc). My next step would be
to link up an AVR so that it runs as an server(Avr RS232 to xport and
xport RJ45 to lan) . It would be waiting for a connection to be made
(standard TCP/IP nomenclature) actually it can also initiate connection.
As told by Zack, the documentation with xport describes everything it
took me a few hours to be comfortable with Xport. In addition I had VB
6 to quickly write programs to test it out.
Thanks
Sharma
