Hi dear friends,
In my project i'm using ATMEGA8515.I have to interface keypad and LCD for=
writing and reading data.anyone can suggest me which IC i can use for WR a=
nd RD pins in order to be able to do that.
I'm waiting for ur response.

You only need 7 pins (plus ground) to interface any LCD module that uses
the HD44780 chip. You only need at most 8 pins for a 16-key keypad. You
should have room left over for other things.

Maybe tell us more about the project - just how many keys on the keypad,
what kind of LCD display did you have in mind?

if u use bascom or codevision u can connect the LCD an keypad without usein=
g RD and WR,u can see in a help of bascom.i think u use bascom so it's very=
easy.alsoo u can see it in AVR microcontrolers by Ali Kahe
