[AVR club] updating of OCRnx register in ATmega162

hi
i a new member of yhis club.
i use atmega162i used OCR1A as the top of timer 1 and i should update it during run timr.
the datasheet of atmega162 says that:

I have code to read a keypad on Port D and output it to LEDS on Port B.
This works fine on ATmega8515, but I get wrong results with ATmega162 -
