Find help, specifications and source code for the LPC900. The LPC900 challenges Microchip and AVR based on the worlds most popular 8-bit architecture the 80C51. With a 2-clock core the LPC900 series is a high performance, very flexible and low cost 8-bit microcontroller family. Designers using or interested in these devices are encouraged to share their know-how and ask questions.
Hi,
just deleted the last message from eng_hossam123 and also excluded him from lpc900_users.
Although there are not too many posts these days, we definitely don't need spam in the
forum!
Hi Alvin, your message did not make the filter any more because I had the last spam
already deleted, but thank you for letting us know that there are still engineers reading
the postings in this group and therefore it is still worth my time to check the forum and
step in if necessary.
btw. there are still improvements made in the LPC900 family. Recently NXP announced
availability of upgraded devices for pretty much all subfamilies.

The main improvements are for the RC-oscillator and most devices have a temp sensor
integrated now.
To enable better power saving, it is much easier now to switch between different
oscillators. This enables a fast execution from sleep mode and a smooth transition to a
high accuracy internal oscillator if needed for serial transmission.
Let's focus on microcontrollers and software in this forum.

Thank you for the heads up on the "improvements made in the LPC900 family. I could
eliminate my I2C usage with the new temp sensor. Alvin...
