Discussion Groups | AT91SAM ARM | using gpio buttons for clicking on the at91sam9263ek

For users of the Atmel AT91SAM7 and AT91SAM9 ARM CPU chips. Atmel has taken a new direction by combining on chip flash and ram with the ARM CPU on a single die. This provides low cost devices for small systems using the ARM CPU. This group is to exchange information to help users get started and learn how to use the devices.

using gpio buttons for clicking on the at91sam9263ek - kirtibr - Jun 30 19:33:57 2008

I am using a sam9263ek where user's pushbutton bp1 and bp2 connected to
pc4 and pc5 respectively are supposed to generate left click and right
click. But that isnt happening. The earlier posts talk abt using a driver
for gpio but i neednt do that coz putting a number of printks in the
drivers/input/input.c file shows the interrupts are generated and
recognised which can be seen from /dev/input/event0...how do I change
this event0 or modify it so that the os recognises it as a mouse rather
than event0.
Thanks
Kirtika
